Greetings, fellow group leaders from AncientWorlds.net. To be a member of this group, you should display this LinkRing logo and its accompanying code on your main group page (a website address which doesn't change). If you have any problems, don't hesitate to contact me, by sending me a scroll. 

In order to remain a member of the Link Ring, the following logos and links** MUST be displayed on the page or the code will not validate through Ringsurf.  Until these items validate the application for membership will remain "in queue" at Ringsurf, to maintain the integrity of the ring. You have two options for displaying the Ring. The first is graphic and the second is text based. Please use one of these two options, to maintain the ring consistency throughout the groups.

Click here to join, if you haven't already and go to the joining page. 

The following steps MUST be taken before the group link can be activated (as required by RingSurf):

1 Enter the name of your group, as it appears at AncientWorlds
2 The name(s) of the persona(s) who are the Level 6 Administrators of your group
3 Your email address (as provided when you "joined" RingSurf)
4 Enter the URL of your group's main page
5 Ignore this
6 Gotta do it ... enter your birthdate
7 Enter your RingSurf password here
8 Enter as many keywords as you think might be searched by people trying to find your group
9 Enter the description of your group (similar to, or the same as, what already appears on your Group Home page)

When you click "Add your site to the Ring," you'll be taken to a confirmation page containing the code you need to include on your group's main page (most people are putting it at the end of the middle column, so that it appears just before the Discussion Board topics list) and you'll be sent a confirmation email containing your Site ID. 

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! You must change the code to reflect your new ID # 

To do this, look for (run a search on) "id=1" and change it to your specific site id as provided in the confirmation email. There are TWO incidents of the ID # .... I cannot upgrade your ring membership status until your code is validated (and RingSurf *knows*!! *s*)

You can also change the background color of the containing table. Just look for:

and change the bgcolor to whatever you want - OR - you can remove it altogether and end up with:
